Max writes poetry and short stories from his home in Glasgow. His work has been published in magazines including Poetry Scotland, Brittle Star, Poetry Birmingham Literary Review, Firewords, and Postbox, but he prides himself on the volume of rejections he has received.

Max worked as a journalist on newspapers, radio, television and online, then studied for an MA in Creative Writing. He was born in Birmingham and lived in the Midlands until moving to Scotland in 2022.  He is an explorer of natural and urban landscapes.
