I write poetry and short stories at home in Glasgow. My work has been published in magazines including Poetry Scotland, Brittle Star, Poetry Birmingham Literary Review, Firewords, and Postbox, but I am particularly proud of the number of rejections I have received.

I worked as a journalist on newspapers, radio, television and online, before studying for an MA in Creative Writing at Birmingham City University. I was born in Birmingham and lived there until moving to Scotland in 2022.
